DESIGN RESEARCH / ETHNOGRAPHY / ACADEMIC WRITING

The DHW Lab was an award-winning design studio based at Auckland City Hospital from 2014–2018. Using human-centred design, the team worked to improve healthcare experiences for patients, families, and staff, in partnership with Auckland University of Technology and the Auckland District Health Board.

As a design researcher, I supported projects with in-depth qualitative research to inform evidence-based design decisions. I also helped shape the lab’s strategy, facilitated cross-disciplinary workshops, and contributed to academic publications on transdisciplinary collaborations in healthcare.
